Amherst Partners Announces Staff Promotions and Continued Expansion of Internship Program

Amherst Partners is pleased to announce the promotion of John Wendzinski to the role of Associate.

Mr. Wendzinski joined Amherst Partners as an Analyst in May 2019. He previously worked as a Commercial Banking Analyst at JP Morgan Chase. He also held the position of Acquisitions Analyst at Amerisource Industrial Supply.

“We anticipated great things when John joined the firm, and we have not been disappointed,” said Investment Banking Practice Leader Don Luciani. “He has distinguished himself in serving clients, mentoring interns, and contributing to business development activities, and we are delighted to have him positioned to continue to participate in our firm’s growth.”

Mr. Wendzinski has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Economics from Michigan State University.

Additionally, the firm welcomed Sam Jabara as the latest participant in the Amherst Investment Banking Internship Program.

Mr. Jabara is currently pursuing an MBA at the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame University. He has a BA in Business and Management from Albion College.

Previously he was a Summer Associate at R.W. Baird and he has significant prior work experience with Mentara, Plante Moran, and Baker Tilly Virchow Krause.

“We are very pleased to have a professional with Sam’s experience and training joining our program,” said Fahad Siddiqui, Investment Banking Vice President and program training coordinator. “We have a strong track record of attracting outstanding interns who have credited Amherst with providing a great foundation for their future careers and we are proud to have been able to continue it and now expand it through the full year.”
