Sam is an Associate in the Investment Banking Group at Amherst Partners. He provides analytical and execution support for mergers and acquisitions and other financial advisory services. Sam brings over six years of experience advising clients in the middle market and lower middle market, primarily in the automotive, food & beverage, and aerospace & defense industries.
Prior to joining Amherst, Sam was a summer associate in Robert W. Baird’s global investment banking team. Before returning for his MBA, Sam held progressive roles in the consulting practices of Plante Moran and Baker Tilly, where he supported manufacturing & distribution clients in various capacities.
Sam holds an MBA from the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree in Economics & Management from Albion College.
I feel I would be a great GM/Owner combo for a professional sports team in the NBA or NFL. After assembling the right roster I would attend every game, inevitably getting animated and booing the refs’ bad calls. I would hope to eventually be another iconic sports figure like a Mark Cuban or Jerry Jones, except with the dance moves of Steve Ballmer.
