About Ray
Ray Dallavecchia Jr. is a Partner at Venetian Associates, LLC, a Michigan based Family Office focused on acquiring lower-middle market consumer products companies in North America through direct investment. Venetian Associates primary investment is Acclaim Lighting, Inc. a U. S. distributor of residential interior and outdoor lighting.
Previously, Ray was the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of POOF®-Slinky®, Inc. Founded in 1991, the company acquired nine toy companies including the well-known brands of POOF®, IDEAL®, SCIENTIFIC EXPLORER®, and SLINKY®. In addition to acquisitions, the company was built upon successful cross merchandising strategies through various distribution channels complimented by procuring products via is own domestic manufacturing operations along with sourcing products internationally.
Ray started his career at the accounting firm Touche Ross (Deloitte) and graduated from Michigan State University.
