About Jon
Jon is the CEO of ApexHealth, a provider of Medicare Advantage Plans which he founded in 2018. Previously, Jon was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Meridian Health Plan Michigan prior to its acquisition by Wellcare (now Centene Corporation) in September 2018. Known for bringing innovative and fresh ideas to his role, he was responsible for the management and strategic growth of the largest Medicaid health plan in the State of Michigan, with more than 400,000 members and 2,000 employees.
As an Operating Director with Amherst Partners, Jon’s first-hand involvement in growing and managing a family business and his expertise in the areas of care coordination, reimbursement, and revenue cycle management helps the firm’s Healthcare Team provide clients with valuable insights based on real-world experiences.
Jon received his bachelor’s degree from DePaul University and earned an Executive Masters in Business Administration for Families in Business from Kennesaw State University. He was also awarded a Fellow from the Academy for Healthcare Management (FAHM).
