EEI Global (“EEI” or the “Company”) is an award-winning experiential marketing company known for its full-service production capabilities with regards to conventions, trade shows, marketing events, and similar brand-building experiences.

The Company encountered financial difficulties when it incurred losses over a two-year period and had borrowed on an operating line.

Amherst Partners was brought in to act as Chief Restructuring Officer (“CRO”) to stabilize operations.

Solution

Amherst Partners, acting as the CRO, right sized the cost structure of the organization, negotiated new union contract, obtained new business from European OEM’s, reengineered the estimating process and managed projects actuals to budgets.

Results

With the help of Amherst Partners, the Company was able to pay off the bank line and generate an 8.3% pre-tax profit one year after Amherst Partners became CRO.
