Amherst approached a select group of strategic and financial investors and received multiple indications of interest at competitive valuations.
The shareholders ultimately selected PNC Riverarch, who had a key strategic investment in Tranzonic.

Tranzonic, Cleveland, OH, is a leading supplier of consumable cleaning, safety, and hygiene products to commercial and industrial end-markets; product sets include protective gloves, industrial wiping products, feminine hygiene, and safety products.
PNC Riverarch and Tranzonic aggressively pursued the Company for its complimentary products and access to the healthcare market.
